A Carmel Indiana Summer Family Portrait Session | The Cake Bake Shop | Indianapolis Photographer

You know you've got incredible clients when they travel from out of state to have you photograph their family!

When Natalie first reached out regarding a special family portrait session near her sweet baby girl's 6 month milestone, I was so excited! They wanted some photos in front of the Cake Bake Shop in Carmel, Indiana and we definitely made that happen!

A hot spot in Indianapolis, Gwendolyn Rogers' The Cake Bake Shop is iconic and their Carmel, Indiana location near Carmel City Center made for a sweet family portrait location.

A short walk away is The Center for the Performing Arts and added variety to their portraits with its grand columns and summer landscaping.

Between their impeccably styled outfits (just look at that baby's romper with the sweet lace detail and soft blue headband!!), and gracious personalities, this session is definitely one for the books. Steven and Natalie traveled from Cincinnati, OH, and baby Eva did so well during their session. I mean, really, what a sweetheart (as you'll see below!). Her eyes are GORGEOUS!

Natalie and Steven love their baby girl so much and I love how they chose to document this season in their family's legacy. 20 years from now when their girly is off to new adventures, with these sweet months of infancy behind her, I know they will have precious memories to take them right back to this time when God was leading them along on their journey of new parenthood.

It was HARD to try to fit SO MANY of my favorites into one blog post, so enjoy this sneak peek into my time with the Rice Family!
